What can I say?

DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH

          I saw a Diamond, today!

In my Spirit, through Eyes of faith.

Strolling through a crowd along a busy thoroughfare.

I chanced to see a sight so rare! I stopped to wonder.

No one noticed my diamond! They just walked on by without a thought without a care!

Through their eyes my diamond has no sparkle no twinkle to catch the eye.

They can't even guess the value of my Diamond in the rough!

No polished face, no glow from deep within, you couldn't tell from looking, where this Diamond's been!

Looking through the crowds I felt sadness, sorrow for their blindness!

If only they could know if only they might see.

FOR THROUGH HIS EYES AND WITH HIS FAITH

He let me know, he let me see.

What the little diamond will soon appear to be!

HE didn't begin with the polished stone nor carve it out of gold.

Not today and maybe not tomorrow will it be ready to reveal.

For it's in the Master's workshop, near HIS plans and tools.

I see him working on it daily bending ever so slightly to polish one side and smooth another.

What used to be so dingy, so ordinary and plain.

Shaped by the hands of the Master will never be the same!

WORDS

If there were no words...
What would the world be like without words?
There will be no books.
It would be like an old Black and White movie.
The world would be boring.

Gavel, handcrafted by Jay Gregg Certificate of Presentation
Gavel & Certificate Of Presentation

This certificate and gavel were presented to BOLT by Jay Gregg. The head of the hammer is a knot made out of maple for the hard times getting started with BOLT. The cracks in the head are the weak places to be strengthened. The holes in the handle are the potholes on the road to success for our organization.

(The certificate and gavel was presented to Lisa Kittel, BOLT Chairman at the August 12th, 2001 BOLT's Executive Committee Meeting.)
